Welcome

Message from NSW Minister for Gaming & Racing

The Australasian Inter Dominion Championship is, without a doubt, the premier harness racing event in Australia and New Zealand.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome followers of harness racing to NSW for the 2010 Inter Dominion Pacers Series.

The Inter Dominion returns to NSW for the first time since 2002 when the great Bathurst pacer, Smooth Satin, triumphed for Steve Turnbull at Harold Park.

The series is being run at Harold Park Paceway, the Newcastle International Paceway and Tabcorp Menangle Park Paceway, giving people in the Macarthur and Hunter regions the opportunity to see the stars of harness racing compete in their own backyards.

The Grand Final will be held on Sunday March 7th next year at the magnificent new home of harness racing in NSW, Tabcorp Menangle Park, the culmination of three weeks of top class racing.

Get along and see first hand who’ll be joining the great champions of the past like Caduceus, Hondo Grattan, Our Sir Vancelot, Gammalite and the recent Blacks a Fake, as the winner of the 2010 Pacers Series.

Anyone who enjoys top class sporting events and harness racing in particular, should come along to at least one of the venues next February and March.

I know I won’t be missing it.
